Programs
At Chathiyara Football Academy, we provide training programs for categories ranging from Under 8 to Under 18, and coaching sessions for school teams. Apart from this, we also undertake community driven activities to encourage sports and physical activities in the village. In 2021, we launched our flagship project which is to promote sports among girls in rural Kerala. During these sessions, we offer recreational sessions for parents.

Football Training Program: Under 8 to Under 18
We provide training session for categories ranging from Under 8 to Under 18. These sessions take place for 6 days a week during both morning and evening. Coaching is carried out by AFC and AIFF trained coaches. Players will get the chance to participate in district, state and other AIFF approved tournaments.
Football Training for School Teams
We provide training program for school teams alongside our regular sessions. These sessions take place for 6 days a week during evening. Coaching is carried out by AFC and AIFF trained coaches. School teams will get the chance to participate in inter-school, sub district, district, and state competitions.
Promoting Sports among Girls in Rural Kerala
This is CFA’s dream project of promoting sports among girls in rural Kerala. In the first phase of the project, 25 girls have been selected from nearby rural areas who will undergo a four year training program. They have been enrolled on a full scholarship basis and have been provided with sports kits, player insurance and advanced nutrition. This project was conceived under the mentorship of the Centre for Excellence in Sports Management (COESM), Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research, and is supported financially by Inner Wheel Madras Central.
Sports Training Program for Homemakers
Another program that is spearheaded by CFA for societal development is ‘Sports training for homemakers’. A lifestyle without exercise affects a person’s health adversely by the time they are 30. This program aims at developing and aiding them to preserve their physical health as well as nurture their mental health to recognize and improve their self confidence. The recreational activities that we provide for homemakers include yoga sessions, games, and other physical activities. This happens during the practice session of players and it is free of cost.
