This event is the inauguration of CFA’s dream project for promoting football among girls in rural Kerala. The project is backed by the support of Inner Wheel of Madras Central and Kerala Football Association. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Abdhu Rahman, Hon: Sports Minister of Kerala, in the presence of many respected dignitaries. Ms. Shree latha Narayan represented Inner Wheel Madras Central and Dr. Celina Joy represented the Centre for Excellence in Sports Management (COESM), Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research. This program was conceived under the mentorship of the Centre for Excellence in Sports Management (COESM), Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research.

As the first phase of the project, 25 girls were selected from the nearby rural areas. They will undergo a four year training program supported financially by Inner Wheel Madras Central. During the event, football kits were distributed which was followed by the first practice session for the girls by academy coaches Mr Pradeep and Mr Sheheer.

The guests for the event were Mr. Abdhu Rahman, Mr. M S Arun Kumar, Dr. Celina Joy, and Ms. Sreelatha Narayan. The event saw participation from 80 players, parents, and 12 guests.
